The thing about Bucky, and I'm following him, is that a lot of this shows us that it could be tomorrow. Or it could be already. [She pauses.] But that all depends on how you take certain things here.

Back home, I can't think of anyone who dons a mask or costume who does so while being regulated by the government the way they try here.

[ Sure, most of them abide by the law to a degree, but they don't have to give up their identities to do it. ]

There was a brief period in which it was mandated for us, but we didn't keep it going for long. Thankfully.
