ROAD TRIP PLOTTING.

Hello all, this is the plotting post for the road trip to Brycha. They will be leaving on January 5, 2015, and they will be traveling up to Michigan while taking some (extremely tedious) side ventures to "sight see." The trip itself shouldn't take as long as it does, but thankfully, Brycha itself is not exactly a happening town.

Below, I'll have three categories! One category is "are you coming" so the mods know what is up. I'll be linking this to the mods so they have a good idea of what we're doing, and I'll get the plot request submitted tomorrow. If you're not in turned in yet, at least we'll have a good idea moving forward (and as you'll see, I've already made up a list of ideas of what they'll be doing anyway).

For those of you not on my plurk (or weren't at the time of the original plurk about this), the Young Avengers and Friends will be renting a giant party bus to road trip up to Michigan. Why are they road tripping when they have several magicians? Because that's what they do. This is almost purely for hipster irony. But when they get to Brycha, they will get down to work!

edit: THE PLOTTING REQUEST IS IN. please feel free to plot amongst yourselves. Also this plot ends after January 9th. They will be returning, with maybe leaving Kitty to bring back the party bus (or letting her hop on the bullet train and magicking away the party bus).

edit 2: FOR PEOPLE WONDERING WHERE A LOG IS, we need to wait on the mods to approve the Brycha half of things. I figure that they can trek up to Brycha either way, but what is the end result of that will be altered then.

Kitty has some experience with skulking about to collect intel! This will be done primarily by the following means:

1. Dressing like a local, blending in, and quietly listening to what people talk about
2. Breaking into places because sometimes your years spent mugging people and burglarizing their homes comes in handy

So if anyone wants to tag along with Kitty being a half-competent spy kid, she'll show you her ways!

I mean, they're in Michigan in the winter, they would look bad if they DIDN'T fit in.

But Kate will advise against them doing anything with B&Eing that they can't confirm they need to know about.

IN A LOT OF WAYS Kate will be keeping an eye on Kitty, and she will have a (nonmagical) tracker on her.

Okay, well, fair enough! I guess she'll just eavesdrop, then, and do whatever she's allowed to do - though if Kate forbids her from doing too many things, she'll eventually just leave the group and do her own thing. Too much rebel spirit. :') I'd very much like to find a way for her to be useful, though, if you have any inspiration beyond what I have up there!

She is MOSTLY concerned with Kitty getting arrested and not watching her limits. She admires rebel spirit, but she feels like Kitty is super headstrong and wants to ... make sure she doesn't dive off a cliff (or into the ice cold Lake Huron).

Unfortunately, though, she definitely wouldn't be able to endure just standing by, because she has all the patience of a sparrow, so she'd definitely be on the lookout for something useful to do. And if she didn't find anything, she'd probably turn to more daring (read: reckless) deeds. #kitty
